The first teaser for ‘Aki and Pawpaw,’ the much awaited remake of the 2002 hit ‘Aki Na Ukwa,’ has been released by Filmone Entertainment, a Nigerian film studio.
On Wednesday, a trailer for the iconic family comedy picture was unveiled, ahead of its December 17 release date in theaters.
Chinedu Ikedieze and Osita Iheme reprise their roles as hysterical brothers in the film (Aki and Pawpaw).
Toyin Abraham, Amaechi Muonagor, Anita Asuoha (Real Warri Pikin), Uti Nwachukwu, Stan Nze, MC Lively, Beverly Osu, Juliet Ibrahim, Hanks Anuku, and Chioma Okafor are among the other cast members.
The two well-known comic actors have received numerous prizes and accolades in the country’s film industry.
Iheme was honored with the African Movie Academy Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2007.
In 2011, President Goodluck Jonathan made him a member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR).
Ikedieze, on the other hand, won a slew of prizes and appeared in over 150 films during his illustrious career.
