Despite receiving the highest rating from EA Sports since the game’s release in 2018, Lionel Messi, a great player for Paris Saint-Germain, finished fifth this time around, trailing Karim Benzema, Robert Lewandowski of Bayern Munich, Kylian Mbappe of PSG, and Kevin de Bruyne (Manchester City).

Benzema’s total statistics place him at the top despite the fact that all five of those players have ratings of 91 on the game.

The Frenchman had an outstanding 2021–22 season, scoring 10 goals in the Champions League knockout rounds to help Madrid win their 14th European championship.

Despite scoring 24 goals in 38 games for Manchester United last season, Cristiano Ronaldo has slid from third to eighth with a rating of 90, four years after edging out Messi for the top spot.

The 90-rated players from Liverpool, Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk, are put ahead of the United striker in the rankings, while Real Madrid’s Thibaut Courtois and Bayern Munich’s Manuel Neuer are positioned beneath the Premier League quartet.

Son Heung-min and Harry Kane of Tottenham, Casemiro of United, Alisson of Liverpool, Ederson of Manchester City, and N’Golo Kante of Chelsea are among the players with ratings of 89 who are included in the top 23, while Erling Haaland receives an 88.

The remaining top 23 players are Toni Kroos of Real Madrid (88), Jan Oblak of Atletico Madrid (89), Sadio Mane of Bayern Munich (89), and Marquinhos of PSG (89).

The Real trio of Vinicius Jr, Antonio Rudiger, and Eder Militao, Bruno Fernandes of United, Gianluigi Donnarumma of PSG, and Bernardo Silva of Man City are significant exclusions from the list.

FIFA 23, the most recent installment of EA Sports’ well-known franchise, will be published on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Stadia, PS4, and Xbox One on September 30.

The new game will have extra gameplay elements, HyperMotion2 animation, and kinetic goalkeeper vs. header clashes.
