Kennedy Agyapong’s Contempt Case Will Be Heard In The House Of Parliament

Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, the New Patriotic Party’s Member of Parliament for Assin Central, is scheduled to face a contempt charge in Parliament.

Suhuyini Alhassan Sayibu, the Member of Parliament for Tamale North Constituency of the National Democratic Congress, filed the contempt charge against Mr Agyapong.

As a result, Parliament will hear the matter on Thursday, August 5, 2021.

This was revealed in a statement signed by Akua Durowaa Owusu-Agyekum, the Principal Assistant Clerk of Parliament’s Committee of Privileges.

As a result, the House has asked Mr Sayibu to testify on the topic and appear before the committee during the hearing.
