Recall Shatta Wale got embroiled in yet another controversy just a few days ago, as social media fans claimed he was wearing fake branded pants in one of his images alongside Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie.
Shatta Wale took to social media after the charges surfaced, making him a Twitter trend for many hours, to announce that he will no longer be wearing jeans, kicking off a new ‘pantless’ trend on social media.
Shatta Wale has been arrested yet again, this time for allegedly posting an internet photo of a bag of cash purporting to be his own.
The snapshot of the bag of money Shatta Wale put on his Facebook wall was an internet photo made by an American artist earlier this year, according to controversial Ghanaian YouTuber Kwadwo Sheldon.
Shatta posted a bag full of cash on Facebook last month with the message, “Since you guys can’t sleep, count my money for me.” With several laughing emojis, he says, “Ade, go to bed.”
The same photo was also featured as a feature image in an internet article about a pilot who was detained with around $1 million in a briefcase some time ago, according to the checks. Kwadwo Sheldon captioned Shatta’s post, as well as others involving the same money, “who be the owner?”
