Ursula Owusu fulfills promise to rebuild Mensah Sarbah Hall’s statue

“I will rebuild Mensah Sarbah Hall’s statue to shame critics”, Ursula Owusu to hall management.

Ursula Owusu, a top NPP member and representative in parliament for the Ablekuma West constituency who also serves as Minister of Communication and Digitalization, has kept a promise she made to the management of John Mensah Sarbah Hall at the University of Ghana, also known as Vikings.

According to Hotghnews, the minister was seen handling a wrapper believed to be cash to the management of Mensah Sarbah Hall in a white toasted envelope.

Mrs. Ursula Owusu witnessed the sudden collapse of the statue in front of the hall as a result of a clash between residents of Mensah Sarbah Hall and Commonwealth Hall at the University of Ghana.

In a Facebook post by the popular minister, she wrote “CALL TO ACTION!! Rebuilding Mensah Sarbah’s statue!!! I just redeemed my pledge to contribute to this laudable initiative. Privileged to do so”. With the Hall Master, Senior Tutor, Hall bursar and Alumni Office staff.

Vikings and Viqueens, please stand up and be counted!!!! ” She said.

Regardless of her kind gesture to the University, Ghanaians have reacted by shooting at her, claiming that it is a waste of time and that she should focus on getting things done on time.

We believe Netizens are upset with the minister because their SIM card has been blocked.
